Amigo Media was founded by Robbie Carman and Jason Osder 2005. Based on our shared experiences at larger traditional postproduction houses, Amigo was built to be unique – postproduction that was forward thinking, flexible and cost-effective. Agility gives us the ability to provide clients with options and discounts while always focusing on artistry and talent. Throughout the years Amigo has become a trusted partner with some of the DC areas most prestigious content creators such Sirens Media, Getzels Gordon Productions, National Geographic, Smithsonian Networks, Conservation International, RHED Pixel and many political and NGO communication companies.
With a longstanding focus on broadcast television, we’re also dedicated to furthering the dreams of independent filmmakers. Amigo Media has helped dozens of feature length and short film projects get into and thrive at major film festivals.
We believe that every project – from the biggest feature film to the smallest web advertisement benefits from color grading and we have helped many of the key corporate and nonprofit fixtures create beautiful imagery to help spread their messages for web, DVD/Blu-ray and presentation purposes.
Amigo Media’s goal has always been and will remain to partner with our clients and to help them make the most of their footage by providing the best in color grading services at a fraction of the cost of larger facilities.
Education is also a large part of what we do. We believe that by creating educational content focused on technology and postproduction, we can help individuals turn hobbies into careers as well as help our clients get the most out of postproduction and emerging workflows.
